Very poor and unfair service.
Our dishwasher (still under warranty) developed a clear fault — it continuously beeped and showed error codes, and could not be properly turned off. We reported the issue through the retailer and B&M was assigned to attend.
From the initial report to the actual service visit, the process took over a week.
Before the visit, we were told that a fee would only apply if the issue was caused by customer misuse. Based on this, we agreed to proceed.
However, after waiting over a week, a technician attended and simply stated that the machine was “working fine” at that moment. We were then issued a $120 call-out fee.
This is not reasonable. The fact that the appliance happened to function during inspection does not mean there was no fault when it was reported. The issue was real and clearly justified a service request.
More importantly, there has been no evidence provided to suggest any misuse on our part. Without proof of misuse, there is no valid basis to charge the customer. A call-out fee cannot simply be applied because the problem was not reproduced on the spot.
As a service provider handling warranty repairs, the expectation is to assess and support genuine faults — not to shift the cost onto customers without clear justification.
This kind of practice feels like an attempt to charge customers without proper grounds. Very disappointing experience.

we got our Starline dishwasher fixed from them about 3 times but the same problem kept happening (water wasn't heating up) and I also noticed on their quote they were charging more for the parts than the original website of the Starline dishwasher was charging also they were trying to charge me for freight which the original website didn't as the parts for over $150. the problem still there after spending around over $600

Installed a heatpump that doesnt meet healthy home standard, and they deny responsibility, said it is landlord responsibility...
So the landlord is TOO FREE and TOO RICH to engage someone to achieve compliance, (and it didnt comply), and this someone coming back saying "hey it is your responsibility to make ensure it comply!" And then offered for another quote to get it compliant!!! What a great way to make money!

Just reading about the heatpump installed that doesn't meet healthy home standard.
Yes it is landlord responsibility for ensuring the rental property meets Healthy Homes Standards, THEREFORE , the landord ask for the heatpump to be installed to meet the standard, HOWEVER, the heatpump installed didn't meet the standard!
I feel for the person, this company is just crap and trying to defend with no valid points. Lol

Absolutely fabulous company.
Initial contact was with a very friendly and helpful receptionist, a thorough home assessment and quote, and excellent electrical work done by their electricians. Fantastic communication and organisation by Karl, and a huge shout out to Andy and Ash for highly professional and efficient installation of a large amount of electrical and heatpump services over the week. Very pleased with the products and of their services. Can't rate them more highly
